SMS/MMS Gateway ready platform
to integrate your systems with mobile network. Despite of standard
protocol existence, many SMSC/MMSC vendors provide often only their own
proprietary protocols or standard protocols with some variations.
SMS/MMS Gateway support majority of existing protocols. The following
interfaces towards mobile network currently can be used:
- SMSC: UCP, SMPP, OIS,CIMD,
- MMSC: MM7, MM4, EAIF, MMS
over WAP Push.
Your VAS partner can be
connected to your SMS/MMS Gateway on flexible ways. The product
supports majority of interfaces such as: email, xml/soap, ftp or can be
integrated with anyother source of information on request. The gateway
supports multi party communication, where there are "n" data sources
and "m" SMSC/MMSC destinations. Routing towards the appropriate
SMSC/MMSC is based on destination subscriber number. In case of
temporary SMSC/MMSC link failure, the gateway stores the messages and
retries sending them within given period.
All activities performed by the
gateway are monitored and the customers can be billed with respect to
their activity, if needed. The gateway delivers also traffic statistics
for administration purposes. The SMS/MMS Gateway is dedicated for
massive message transfer. The links towards SMSC/MMSC can be based on
broadband LAN or WAN connections and thus enabling transfer of large
message volumes. The gateway throughput depends on chosen hardware
platform but can be estimated on the level of hundreds SMS messages per
second.
