Integration of Operation
Support Systems (OSS) with managed network is often seen as very
complex task. Indeed, integration with network elements is one of the
most complex tasks during OSS system roll-out, because it requires
broad experience in different software technologies, communication
protocols, telecommunication systems and close cooperation with
operator’s technical department.
Since several years DOT
Systems’ experts perform OSS – Network integration for telecom
operators world-wide. Collected experience and know-how allowed us to
create network integration support platform that is a universal
mediation platform that makes OSS integration easy, inexpensive and
fast. On the base of out platform we developed two products, dedicated
for two different domains:
- Mercurius – used for service and
network provisioning
- ne2os Gateway – used for network
performance measurements management, collection and mediation
Both solutions have already
been deployed in several networks and technologies. Both are dedicated
for multi-vendor and multi-technologies networks. Supported network
technologies are PSTN, NGN, IMS, Data. Both systems have been used in
integration of Alcatel, Lucent and Siemens products.
